Rejection as a Catalyst for Success

Rejection can be a catalyst for Change and an Incentive for Success

Sometimes being rejected is what it takes to push us into changing and it can be the incentive for our ultimate success.

Jack Ma Yun is one of the wealthiest men in the world. He is a highly successful Chinese business man who co-founded Alibaba, a multinational technology group.

His success in life did not always seem certain. In fact, far from it. As a young man, Jack Ma seemed to have struggled educationally but he eventually graduated college. However, his struggles continued as he tried to find employment.

Jack Ma attempted to get a job with the Police Force but was rejected and told “You’re no good.”

He also sought employment with KFC when it came to China. Jack Ma stated, “I even went to KFC when it came to my city. Twenty-four people went for the job. Twenty-three were accepted. I was the only guy (rejected) …”

Never be put off by what people say about you or your potential. Use rejection as a catalyst for demonstrable improvement. Commit to being better. Aim at continuously improving. Keep moving forward.

Prove them wrong!
