The Goals Institute
The Institute was founded in June 1992 by Jim Ball and Jennifer Kuchta (Cook-ta), and is now part of a group of communication companies owned by Prismic Corporation which acquired The Goals Institute in 2010.

 

Our mission

To help organizations and individuals appreciate and attain their true potential.  We help our clients understand the potential from within and what they can become.

We believe that all growth, improvement, performance, profit, and success begins with first having the motivation and desire to facilitate changes in your professional and corporate life.

History

Jim Ball began working with Jennifer Kuchta at Venture America, the venture capital firm Jim founded. Venture America helped finance and launch more than 20 businesses including The Discovery Channel, Digene Diagnostics, and other successful companies.

The two of them started The Goals Institute in 1992, and successfully developed the business, providing training and development to many well-known organizations in the United States.

Jim passed away in 2009, following an unsuccessful lung transplant.  Jennifer continued with the professional management of the Institute, and is today the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company which was acquired by Prismic Corporation in October 2010.

Prismic Corporation owns a number of companies in the field of communica-tions, both human and technological.  It now provides the Institute with the breadth of management, resources, and support for the Institute to successfully expand its products and services while continuing to provide clients with its renowned world-class, red-carpet customer service.

 

Evolution of Our Business

The Goals Institute's founding goals were to provide strategic goal-setting services, writing and publish books, and deliver speeches and seminars.

Next, the Institute began creating simple methodologies, systems, and techniques that we could teach to others for achieving goals and "getting things done".

More recently, We have focused on packaging our resources for use by others, providing high-quality, easy-to-use tools at affordable prices. We offer books and resource tools for individuals and teams.
