Purposes of this Presentation

This is a short presentation of key concepts in our Professionalism Is for Everyone seminar.

If you do not have the time or resources for a half-day or full-day program, use this program to provide a 30 to 90 minute overview of professionalism, its importance, and teach the Five Keys to Being a True Professional.

This program:

• Inspires individuals to pursue excellence, high values, and professional behavior
  
  
• Encourages people to press for being the best and avoiding mediocrity at home and at work
  
  
• Helps organizations teach and communicate the standards and foundation principles for what it means to be a professional and how to behave and act professionally

30-, 60-, or 90-Minute Presentation:

This program may be provided as a short presentation from 30 to 90 minutes and may be expanded an extra hour or so by using the discussion questions provided as supplemental facilitation tools.

Presenter's Kit

The Presenter's Kit for preparing and making this presentation includes:

• Book: Professionalism Is for Everyone
  
  
• Presenter’s Notes: A booklet containing a word-by-word complete presentation script for making the presentation. You may follow the script as is or modify it to add in your personal comments, stories, and suggestions.
  
  
• Suggested Timetables: Timetables for making 30-, 60-, and 90-Minute Presentations. These timetables list the modules in the presentation and time estimates for each.
  
  
• Optional Discussion Questions: You can use these during or after your presentation to stimulate group discussion and reflection on the key points in the presentation.

• Professionalism Quick Test: This is a reproducible master copy of an optional 30 Question Quick Test you can have everyone take before or during the program to stimulate interest and open up thinking about what it means to be a professional.
  
  
• Optional Review Quiz: This is a reproducible master copy of an Optional Review Quiz along with an Answer Key. While the questions are not hard and most of the questions will be addressed in the presentation, participants will need to have read the book to answer all of the questions correctly.
  
  
• Thumbnail Images: A folio illustrating the images on the PowerPoint Slides for use in planning.
  
  
• PowerPoint® slides on a CD disc: These slides contain high-quality images and minimal word content.  The right picture is worth a thousand words and these slides will help you bring life and energy to your presentation.
